Beccar Varela is highly skilled in corporate finance and distressed debt, offering support in capital markets issuances, debt restructuring negotiations and proceedings, and securing financing for large-scale projects under investment incentive regimes. The practice is led by Pablo Torretta and Daniel Levi, who are well equipped to counsel clients on foreign exchange regulations and international financing, Luciana Denegri, a key adviser on capital markets and bank lending deals, and Felipe Videla, who was recently raised to the partnership and advises on refinancings and corporate restructurings. Maximiliano D’Auro, who was appointed as managing partner in 2024, continues to advise on financing and refinancing deals. The deep bench also includes Roberto Fortunati and Carolina Serra, who advise on project finance and cross-border debt restructurings, and was further strengthened by the addition of Jimena Vega Olmos, who is well known for her experience in project financings in the energy and infrastructure sectors, from Martínez de Hoz & Rueda in July 2025. At senior associate level, Gonzalo Ochoa advises on foreign exchange regulations, Luciana Liefeldt supports capital market operations, and María Victoria Pavani assists with project finance.
