O'Farrell‘s corporate and M&A practice handles complex transactions and provides general corporate advice to both domestic and international clients operating in a broad range of sectors, including energy, healthcare, automotive, construction, real estate, and entertainment. The department is led byThe Ernesto Genco, who handles a mix of foreign investments, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, and real estate transactions for major domestic and international clients, as well as start-ups. Uriel F. O'Farrell, who has a strong track record in the energy and infrastructure sectors, and associates Cecilia Cook and Jerónimo Ocampo are also part of the core team. Marcela Lorenzo Villalba left the firm in October 2024. Since publication the firm has absorbed Allonca Abogados, a 10-strong general business law boutique with which it had been collaborating for a number of years - effective as of November 2025.
