The team assists with regulatory, transactional, environmental, and infrastructure matters, including PPAs, promotion regimes, and public-private partnerships. Known for project finance and cross-border capabilities, the practice supports complex developments, privatisations, and international expansions. The team is led by energy specialist José Carlos Cueva, who advises clients on all power-related matters, and corporate and energy expert Ricardo Castañeda. The practice was further strengthened in July 2025 with the arrival of the multifaceted Jimena Vega Olmos, a specialist in project development, project finance and investment arbitration, from Martínez de Hoz & Rueda.
