Bomchil assists insurers and insured parties, underwriters, and brokers with their day-to-day business operations, including providing corporate, investment, and regulatory advice in connection with commercialising products. On the contentious side, the lawyers deal with mediation, litigation and class actions in the civil and commercial courts relating to insurance coverage and premiums. Máximo José Bomchil heads the insurance department, and routinely advises insurance companies on financing and M&A deals. Of counsel Néstor Belgrano and litigation partner Julia Villanueva, a former judge of the National Commercial Court of Appeals who joined the firm in February 2024, are involved in contentious matters.
