O'Farrell has been a leading firm in telecommunications since the 1990's, advising on privatisations and regulatory issues, as well as representing major corporations in telecoms-related taxation, municipal-authorisation litigation and infrastructure projects. The practice is led by Agustín Siboldi, who represents clients on various TMT-related matters matters before the administrative and judicial authorities. Jorge Muratorio, in turn, advises clients on regulatory and public procurement matters related to the telecom sector, while Ana Belén Micciarelli specialises in matters related to personal data protection. At associate level, María Fortuna recently represented Claro in lawsuits filed by consumer protection associations; and Rebeca Fernández focuses on privacy and data protection. The firm was further strengthened with the arrivals of: Jorge Luis Ariza, in October 2024, as partner-in-charge of the infrastructure practice; corporate and capital markets specialist Nicolás Fernández Madero and commercial specialist Marcelo Martínez Casas, both as senior counsels, from DLA Piper Argentina and A&F | Allende • Ferrante | Abogados, respectively,  in November 2024; and experienced associate Joaquín Trillo in the public law and  economic regulation department, in December 2024. \n \n
