Bruchou & Funes de Rioja‘s TMT practice has deep expertise in telecommunications, broadcasting, IP, data protection and emerging technologies, and also advises clients on advertising, legal marketing, personal data protection, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Leadership of the practice rests with three partners: Juan Zocca, has extensive experience in telecommunications, media and broadcasting, and represents major players in each of these indusry segments; Dámaso Pardo Correa, has expertise in privacy and new technologies particularly as regards the digital and internet spheres; and Santiago Balbi handles venture capital in relation to the technology sector. IP partner Alejandro Barrientos, whose practice reaches into life sciences, biotech and personal data protection, is also integral to the practice group. At associate level, both Manuel Mazza (who was promoted to senior in June 2024) and intermediate Chiara Ferioli regularly advise clients in the telecommunications sector.
