With extensive experience in the telecommunications, media and technology sectors Bomchil advises international investors, operators and regulators on a broad array of telecommunication matters. In the media sector, in particular, the practice advises clients on foreign investments, acquisitions and regulatory issues; furthermore, the firm has robust experience in data privacy, data protection and data transfer agreements. Francisco Gutiérrez leads the practice and has extensive experience in the TMT industry, with advising clients on regulatory conflicts a specialist niche. Marcelo den Toom brings antitrust and competition expertise to the practice; counsel Marcelo Bombau focuses on matters related to entertainment law; and Francisco Zappa specialises in data protection and cyber-security. At associate level, senior Marina Wagmaister specialises in administrative law, economic regulation and international arbitration, and has been actively involved in assisting TMT clients. The team was bolstered with the arrival of associate Tomás Zambrano from Marval O’Farrell Mairal in January 2025.
