- Acted as Court appointed Liquidator (following 13 years as External Administrator) of a Bahraini bank, Awal Bank BSC, in a multi-billion dollar insolvency process involving 130 creditors and over 75 sets of proceedings in 12 different jurisdictions.
- Acted for a Bahraini bank in a USD 30 million inter-bank Islamic finance dispute arising out of an Unrestricted Wakala Agreement (an Islamic inter-bank agency agreement) in an arbitration in the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution.
- Acted for a Bahraini contractor in a highly complex USD 30 million arbitration in connection with a project for the construction of 9 water stations under two construction contracts. The dispute was successfully resolved with a negotiated settlement agreement.
