The IP team at Fieldfisher boasts an all-round practice, with expertise across patents, trademarks, design rights, copyright, and trade names. Patent litigation is a key part of the team’s work, particularly digital TV and telecom related infringement issues. Stijn Debaene leads the practice, with a particular focus on IP litigation in the media and telecom industries. Hakim Haouideg is also of note, advising clients on IP transactions related to technology transfer, software licensing, consulting and brand protection. Serge Flecijn has expertise in patents and trademarks, and advises clients on IP-related matters including competition and product safety issues. The practice was further bolstered by the addition of Thierry Van Innis in December 2024.
