A recent influx of new clients has seen Ferrere advise on M&A and reorganisation transactions at the top end of the market, as the corporate team added companies such as Samsung, Alicorp and Repsol to its roster. From its offices in Santa Cruz, La Paz and Cochabamba, the firm is able to advise on contracts, regulatory issues and day-to-day corporate matters on both a national and international basis. Clients also turn to the firm for advice on the establishment and winding up of local operations. As head counsel to large private companies operating in Bolivia and an expert in commercial transactions, Diego Villarroel is well positioned to lead the team. At the senior associate level, Pablo Heredia focuses his practice on corporate compliance and the organisation of local and international companies, while Jorge Palza brings extensive experience in private and public tenders to the group. Santiago Rodríguez joined the team from the firm’s Uruguay branch in June 2023; he counts a number of start-ups among his corporate clients.
