Barros & Errázuriz

The large banking and finance team at full-service firm Barros & Errázuriz is routinely mandated by borrowers and lenders to undertake a broad range of complex finance deals. The group has significant experience in energy and infrastructure project finance transactions, while other sector expertise includes telecoms, media, pharmaceuticals, retail, and food and beverages. ‘A great team with excellent perception and business acumen’, it also covers banking regulations, as well as banking institutions’ development of new financial services. Recent mandates include advising a consortium, comprising Almar Water Solutions and Transelec, on the approximately $1.5bn financing for a seawater transportation system project. The practice is co-led by longstanding project and corporate financing specialist Francisco De la Barra and structured finance expert Enrique Barros V.
