Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos

The 11-strong banking and finance team at Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos routinely acts for foreign and international banks and financial institutions, as well as Chilean banks and financial entities. The group also advises private and state-owned companies on a range of financing transactions. Representative expertise ranges from cross-border finance deals and structured finance transactions, to energy, mining and infrastructure project-related financings, and acquisition and corporate finance. Other specialist areas include secured financings for agriculture producers and fish farming operations, as well as derivatives and trade finance. Banks and financial institutions also turn to the practice for interactions with local regulators and approval processes. The team recently acted as special Chilean counsel to Enel Chile on a $200m non-secured credit facility entered into with Corporación Andina de Fomento.
