Highlights include advising online marketplace company Mercado Libre on the development of an artificial intelligence tool, which resolves its daily competition and antitrust law enquiries. Heading up the firm’s Chilean competition offering, the wide-ranging practice of director Gabriel Budnik ranges from cartel investigations to TDLC cases and merger deals. Since publication, the firm has considerably reinforced the practice group with the arrival of new practice head Javier Velozo, along with counsel Pablo Pardo and three associates (all formerly at Contreras Velozo) bringing the team to a total of eight specialists - effective as of January 2026.
