CMS Carey & Allende

Well known for handling a range of IT and telecoms matters, CMS Carey & Allende acts for both domestic and overseas clients on Chile’s data protection legislation. In relation to international clients, the team assists with adapting and implementing data protection policies in Chile with regard to the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation. Heading up the practice, Ignacio Errazquin is a telecoms expert who is also experienced in data protection-related public policy and regulatory issues. In 2024, former partner Diego Rodríguez and associate Isidora Rencoret departed the firm in April and August, respectively.
