The ‘highly-experienced’ team at CMS Carey & Allende has ’solid and in-depth knowledge of labour laws’. The six-member employment and pensions department handles day-to-day labour compliance work, union matters, health and safety issues, and remuneration and compensation structuring. The group also assists with litigation, international employees’ visa and immigration requirements, and corporate deal-related social security issues. Other notable areas include redundancy programmes and senior executive terminations. Promoted from senior associate to partner in April 2024, ‘excellent lawyer’ and practice leader Julio Frías maintains a broad employment law practice; while recently-raised director Constanza Yáñez assists with labour lawsuits, employment terminations, collective bargaining, labour compliance audits, and labour due diligence. Former senior associate Felipe Palma left the firm in July 2025.
