At Garrigues Chile, the projects and infrastructure practice most often acts on mandates from international banks and energy sector clients, particularly those concerning public works concessions and major highway developments, along with other transport infrastructure projects. The practice also has particular expertise regarding the financing of large-scale renewable energy projects, including photovoltaic parks, wind farms, and energy storage systems. As co-head of the firm’s project finance development department, Pedro Garcia has over 20 years’ experience in financing, structured finance and debt restructuring. Department co-head Claudio Moraga brings over 30 years’ expertise in public tenders, regulatory matters and litigation related to concessions and public procurement. Antonio Morales works across both the banking and finance, and project development areas and specialises in renewable energy project finance, particularly in the solar sector. The practice has recently been significantly strengthened by the addition of Rodrigo Riquelme Yañez and Camilo Silva, after the former Riquelme, Silva & Fuentes was absorbed in March 2025. Riquelme and Silva bring significant expertise in complex construction contracts, infrastructure projects and public works concessions.
