The 11-member projects team at boutique firm Fleischmann & Román Abogados works across a broad array of matters in infrastructure, public and private law, and dispute resolution. The group advises on complex infrastructure projects across sectors including mining, energy, public works, airports, desalination plants, and telecoms. Ongoing work includes advising concessionaire companies like Ferrovial and Grupo Azvi on major highway and airport projects (specifically, the Autopista Vespucio Norte and the Red Austral de Aeropuertos). Notably, the practice is involved in two of Chile’s most significant desalination projects, Atacama and Antofagasta, totalling over $300m in investment. The team’s experience also includes renewable energy matters, including photovoltaic plants and two high-voltage transmission projects, currently; and mining, where the team has advised a consortium company on the transformative $4.2bn Chuquicamata Subterranea Mine. Founding partner Hernán Fleischmann Chadwick has spent decades working on both transactional and contentious infrastructure matters, and is frequently lauded by clients for his ‘vast experience’. Mariajosé Pérez Jiménez is a standout associate known for her hands-on approach, bringing strong expertise across numerous infrastructure projects.
