Acting for retail, investment fund, real estate development and asset management companies, the six-member group also assists with structuring real estate developments, such as housing, commercial and infrastructure projects. Other key specialisms include corporate real estate, M&A, real estate business acquisitions, investment deals, property management, commercial leases and portfolio restructuring. The practice additionally has sector expertise in supermarkets, data centres and underground station developments. With over 25 years’ experience in real estate finance and development, team head José Miguel Rioseco's specialisms encompass residential projects, office developments, shopping centres, tourism and hotels, and include project-related urban planning, structuring and financing work. One recent mandate involved advising Chilean supermarket company SMU on the purchase of land and commercial premises for a supermarket project in the Valparaíso region. In the associate ranks, seniors Catalina Berrios Vergara and Macarena Lagos Soza are experienced real estate and corporate law practitioners; moreover, in January 2025, former principal associate Eduardo Tirado was promoted to partner.
