Maria Papaefstathiou Damianos, who joined the firm in January 2024, now heads the department at Michael Damianos & Co LLC. The team is adept at advising on issues relating to asset financing, debt financing and restructuring, as well as real estate financing, acquisition financing and corporate financing. The majority of its work comes from referrals from international law firms in relation to the Cypriot element of international transactions. It is also handling work regarding tech matters, venture capital, gaming and Islamic financing. Michael Damianos continues to play a pivotal role in the department.
