The commercial, corporate and M&A team at Clifford Chance continues to be a leader in the practice area, advising private equity funds and domestic and multinational corporates in consumer electronics, retail, software, energy, food, pharmaceuticals and TMT, on high-value public and private M&A, demergers, disposals, restructurings, joint ventures, disposals, regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters. The practice is headed by David Koláček, who brings over three decades of experience to complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions. Also of note is Michal Jašek, a specialist in the healthcare, life sciences, chemicals and tech sectors. Former co-team leader and office managing partner Alex Cook departed the team in May 2024 for the firm's Munich location.
