Clifford Chance‘s strong suit lies in complex, multi-jurisdictional restructuring and insolvency proceedings, with the Paris office able to draw upon the expertise of teams around the globe. Under the leadership of the experienced Delphine Caramalli, the team acts for a diverse client base of domestic and international investors, private equity funds, hedge funds and other lenders, shareholders and buyers, covering the full range of financial restructuring processes, consensual and judicial insolvency proceedings (particularly preventive procedures for ad hoc mandates and conciliation), and distressed M&A. The team also draws on the support of new arrivals Arnaud Fromion and Frédéric Guilloux, who joined the wider global financial markets practice from Goodwin at the end of 2024, and specialise in leveraged finance with a focus on restructuring.
