Acting alone and also leveraging resources from Singapore and London, in particular, Stephenson Harwood provides contentious and non-contentious advice to a wide array of stakeholders in the financial services sector, including as it relates to the development of new financial products and services. Much of the work occurs at the intersection of financial services and technology, and under the leadership of the 'excellent' Katherine Liu, the team has picked up a slew of work for digital banks on Hong Kong licensing/compliance matters and for fintech start-ups, including a number that have grown to "unicorn" status.
