Based in Singapore, Sushma Jobanputra chairs the India practice at Jones Day and advises clients on banking, restructuring and corporate matters. The practice’s strengths includes global disputes, M&A, and finance. A key contact within the team is Vinay Kurien, who has experience in debt capital markets transactions and corporate restructuring. Dennis Barsky retired from practice in December 2024. The practice has been further enhanced with the arrival of Parveet Singh Gandoak in September 2024 from King & Spalding LLP.
