Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas

A market leader in the TMT space, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advises a wide variety of domestic and international clients on the full spectrum of sector-related matters, including big-ticket M&A, joint ventures and investment structuring in the media space, digital payments regulations, online gaming, data privacy, tech deals, and fintech issues. The practice is led by a quartet of partners: managing partner Cyril Shroff; Arun Prabhu; Anu Tiwari; and Aarushi Jain. Based out of Bangalore and Mumbai, Prabhu heads the technology practice and advises banking, insurance, healthcare, and internet clients on large-scale tech acquisitions and investments. Jain leads the media, education and gaming practice and advises clients on sponsorships, licensing and brand endorsements, while Tiwari acts for emerging tech companies in transactional and regulatory matters. The group was strengthed by the addition of Arya Tripathy from Priti Suri and Associates in September 2024; she is experienced in advisory and transactional mandates concerning IT and emerging technologies.
