The team’s sector experience is equally comprehensive and it is involved in major projects — and secondary market transactions — in the rail, roads, ports, defence, water, energy and social infrastructure spheres. The department is led jointly by Mark Phillips, who leverages an impressive record of involvement in Israel’s largest infrastructure projects, and Adam Eytan, who routinely represents domestic and multinational clients on PPP and BOT projects, among others. Highlight-Mandate
- Acted for Bank Hapoali, Mizrahi Tefahot Bank, European Investment Bank and other institutional lenders on the NIS6bn financing of the Green Line of the Tel Aviv Light Rail project.
- Advised the arranger and lenders of additional financing for the existing Cross-Israel Highway BOT project (including the Section 18 extension) to finance the construction of additional lanes on the highway.
- Acted for Israel Electric Company on the NIS9bn sale of the Eshkol power plant.
