Simmons & Simmons‘ intellectual property practice in Milan handles the complete spectrum of IP matters. The team routinely advises major global clients in the healthcare, pharma, and life sciences sectors as well as the food and beverage and fashion industries, handling copyright and trade mark issues and patent disputes before the UPC. Practice co-head Stefania Bergia is experienced in matters of appellations of origin and geographical indications alongside a wide variety of IP matters such as trade marks, patents, and unfair competition. The ’exceptionally scrupulous’ Giulio Enrico Sironi is the team’s other co-head and has significant experience working on multijurisdictional IP matters. Anna Colmano is another central team member, as is Alessandro Zullo.
