  • Represented J-STAR Co., Ltd. in connection with the the approximately ¥69bn (approximately US$456m) GP-led secondary transaction, through which four portfolio companies from three vintages were consolidated into a single acquisition vehicle and the Continuation Series Funds were formed to invest in this SPC (alongside the sponsor’s flagship fund and certain other legacy shareholders of the transferred portfolio companies).
  • Acted for Advantage Partners, Inc. in connection with the formation of the AP VII Series Funds, a ¥130bn (approximately US$1bn) Japan-focused buyout fund series.
  • Assisted Nippon Sangyo Suishin Kiko with the NSSK III Series Funds, which closed with aggregate capital commitments of approximately ¥105bn.
