Notably, the team was engaged in handling an EU merger filing before the European Commission and complex state aid cases in the Latvian energy market, as well as regularly being engaged to handle a range of EU-law-related queries. The team is led by co-heads Jūlija Jerņeva and Debora Pāvila, who are a ’top choice for competition matters,’ with key support provided by the ‘very competent’ Charles Clarke.
