Averus‘ transport department are recognised specialists in the shipping and transport industry. The firm remains unique in its offering by having an office in both Vilnius, the capital, and Klaipeda, the port of Lithuania. Averus has successfully managed matters with leading clients in all transport sectors, from road transport and logistics, shipbuilding companies and towage service providers to clients in the seafaring and railway industries. The team is led by co-heads Regina Derkintytė-Kaupienė, a specialist in shipping law, and Laura Čereškaitė-Kinčiuvienė, head of the aviation practice.

  • Representing Uosto vartai, UAB, in a court dispute with LTG Cargo, AB, a subsidiary of a state-owned railway company group in the Baltic States, regarding the unlawful termination of a carriage contract.
