Russells Solicitors offers a range of services to individuals and organisations operating within the sport sector. The team regularly handles commercial matters for sport stakeholders, such as their advisory role to Sauber F1 regarding its sponsorship matters in the UK. Henry Priestley has a litigation background and focuses his practice on IP, reputation management and breach of contract. Steven Tregear  heads the sporting department and represents individuals in contractual disputes. Tregear has also developed a practice drafting and negotiating boxer/promoter agreements. Sam Willmott became a partner in the team in May 2024.
