The capital markets team at Jones Day is well-versed in advising issuers and underwriters on debt and equity offerings, in addition to handling the establishment of mutual funds, pension funds and brokerage firms. The practice is co-led by a pair of experienced of counsels: Silvia Malagón, who has a track record of assisting mutual funds, pension funds, Mexican banks and brokerage firms with corporate and capital markets mandates; and Carlos Sámano, who advises issuers and regulated institutions on public and private offerings of all types of securities.
