Assembla

Following Adrián del Paso's departure from Ibarra, del Paso y Gallego to co-found Assembla in March 2024, the new firm has become one to watch in the life sciences space. The team, which is lauded for its ‘practical and forward-looking attitude’, is a key port of call for clients in the pharmaceutical, chemicals, consumer goods and healthcare sectors seeking assistance with a range of regulatory and transactional mandates. Del Paso draws on extensive experience in life sciences, healthcare and environmental law matters, while counsels Mauricio Sandoval (environmental issues, administrative and constitutional litigation); and Mariana Carrión, who joined the team from Novartis in October 2024. Since publication, del Paso and Sandoval have left the firm - effective as of January 2026.
