The team at Galicia Abogados S.C. draws on extensive experience assisting local and international investors, including banks, real estate developers, hotel groups and corporates, with a wide range of commercial, industrial, and residential Mexican real estate mandates. Core areas of expertise for the group include real estate finance, land acquisitions, leases and sales, financings, joint ventures and related regulatory and environmental and regulatory matters. The practice is co-directed by Ramiro Sandoval, who majors on M&A, private equity and real estate transactions; and Rodrigo Rivera, who advises clients on the structuring of corporate, real estate, project and debt financing transactions. Roxana Schäfer, who was promoted to the partnership in January 2025, while Monterrey-based senior associate Mariana Islas specialises in real estate development, leasing and M&A transactions in the real estate space.  Since publication, former senior associate Guillermo Parra has been raised to the partnership - effective as of February 2026.
