Wiersholm

Between its renewable energy and oil and gas teams, Wiersholm is a specialist in regulatory issues, project developments, and disputes. Co-leading the oil and gas department, Kjetil Stensvik is a notable contact in the energy transition, assisting major public and private sector clients across carbon capture and storage and offshore wind project development, regulation, and contracting mandates. Fellow oil and gas practice head Torkjel Kleppo Grødalen joined from Advokatfirmaet Schjødt and leads on project development and contract matters concerning oil and gas infrastructure, biofuel facilities, and offshore wind farms. In the renewable energy segment, team co-head Inge Ekker Bartnes is a key contact, advising energy project operators on development mandates, M&A, and disputes within the hydropower, wind, and carbon removal segments. Jon Rabben also co-heads the team, acting for major domestic and multinational energy companies on regulatory, M&A, and project development matters regarding landmark and innovative renewable energy projects.
