The tax team at LAC Legal works closely with the firm's corporate department to provide comprehensive advice on the tax elements of M&A, the tax-efficient structuring of multinational corporations and consortia, regulatory compliance, and disputes with the tax authority. Recently, the firm has been increasingly active in cross-border transactions, supporting US and Latin America-based clients from the finance, insurance, real estate, energy and construction sectors. Managing partner Javier Mitre Bethancourt, whose broad skillset takes in tax compliance and tax fraud prevention, leads the team with Raúl González, an expert in transfer pricing and tax incentives who joined from Baker Tilly in November 2024.
