Following its April 2025 merger with the former Macnabs LLP, the expanded team at Thorntons Law LLP is formed of highly experienced mediators, arbitrators and litigators who are well-regarded for their knowledge of complex and international financial remedy, child relocation, surrogacy and cohabitation matters, amongst others. Sandra Sutherland and child law expert Ruth Croman jointly lead the team, which includes financial remedy and wealth protection-focused practitioner Angela Wipat and Rachael MacDonald. Lucy Metcalf, Fergus Macmillan, and January 2025 arrival from Lindsays Jennifer Gallagher are all key names in the team. Lorna Buchan and Ashley Simpson also joined the team following the firm's merger with Patience and Buchanan.
