International tax expert Deborah Carrivick heads up Birketts LLP’s private client offering in the firm’s Bristol office. The team is adept at handling a wide range of issues, from non-domiciliary taxation and cross-border succession matters, to lifetime tax planning, family investment companies and trust work. Alongside Carrivick, Jane Johnson and Yasmin Metcalfe are key contacts. Johnson routinely advises US-based clients on transactions in the UK, while Metcalfe has a particular niche advising law firms on the establishment and governance of trust corporations. All three relocated to Bristol in November 2024.
