Kellerhals Carrard advises across the gamut of public law issues and whilst the firm does act for private companies or individuals, its specialism is providing counsel to public authorities, institutions and bodies at both federal and cantonal level.  The firm handles contentious and non-contentious matters from both a domestic and international perspective, with a particular recent focus on construction projects and real estate management. The team operates out of four offices across Switzerland: Christoph Jäger leads the team in Bern, and has vast experience in giving advice on procurement and regulatory issues concerning public infrastructure planning and construction; Isabelle Romy heads the team in Zurich, and specialises in environmental and sustainability law; Ivan Paparelli heads the Lugano practice; whilst Bernd Hauck leads in Basel.
