Baker McKenzie advises both domestic and international clients on a wide range of capital market transactions, including listings of stocks, convertible bonds, and global depositary receipts (GDRs). The team also provides regulatory counsel on tender offers and share swaps in M&A. The team is jointly led by Wen-Yen Kang and Alex Chiang. Chiang has significant experience acting as counsel in offerings of global depositary shares and common shares for both international and domestic issuers, with a strong focus on the semiconductor, tech, and engineering sectors. Mark Tu advises on the full spectrum of capital market matters, while Julia King specialises in bond exchange transactions. Sophia Huang is also a notable member of the team.
