King & Spalding‘s Government Matters team boasts a bench full of sector specialists and former government seniors to provide a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape surrounding issues of national security. Boosted by the 2024 addition of former U.S. DoJ counsel Robert Hur, the practice is capable of assisting across a comprehensive spectrum of matters including national security risks, sensitive investigations and law enforcement engagement. Hur leads the practice alongside Christine Savage, who handles CFIUS, Export Controls and Sanctions matters. Philip Ludvigson is the firm’s CFIUS expert. Jamieson Greer has left the firm. Sumon Dantiki departed the team in September 2025.
