The cornerstone of Jones Day’s real estate and financial markets practice is its representation of lenders in the full breadth of real estate transactions. Beyond the firm’s focus on lenders, it also has strengths on the borrowers’ side, advising property owners, investors and private equity funds. In San Francisco, practice head David Paulson is active in secured and unsecured financings and subordinated loans. Fellow co-head Richard Rosenblatt runs the gamut in Atlanta and is particularly noted for his capabilities in bilateral and syndicated real estate finance transactions. Chicago-based David Woods and commercial lending specialist Mark Biggar, are other integral team members.
