HCR Law has continued to build on its strong presence in the West Midlands with notable hires at partner level. In late 2024, Terry Cooper joined the Birmingham office from Knights plc, and Claire Pottinger (who ‘exceeds expectations with her knowledge, industry expertise, and specialist insights’) joined the Worcester team from George Green LLP. They joined an experienced team that includes Beth King-Smith in Worcester, Julia Stahl in Wye Valley, and Emily Sadler in Hereford. All have extensive expertise in advising high-net-worth individuals, business owners, farmers and elderly clients on all aspects of private wealth. Laura Banks departed the firm in August 2025.
