CFIUS work is a growing area of focus for BakerHostetler’s international trade team. Among the firm’s recent hires in the area, it welcomed new counsel Scott Jansen, who was formerly Mitigation Compliance Counsel for the Department of Defense on CFIUS matters.
To support its expanding client list, Holland & Knight LLP has significantly invested in its CFIUS and industrial security team of late. Most notably, Robert Friedman—a former official with the US Department of state—recently joined from Harris, Wiltshire and Grannis LLP.
