The Ontario disputes group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP works with its offices across the country to provide clients with nationwide strength in class actions defence, competition litigation and financial institution litigation. Leadership of the group is split between five partners: Patricia Morrison KC in Calgary, Kathleen McDormand in Ottawa, and David Di Paolo, Nadia Effendi and Brendan Wong in Toronto. Di Paolo has a high level of experience in securities litigation, class actions and shareholder disputes, Effendi regularly appears before all levels of federal and provincial courts, and Wong has a particular interest in fraud law.
