Infrastructure projects

Dentons’ thriving infrastructure practice stepped up a gear during 2024/25, with key roles in a series of major projects. Most notably, it advised the Department of Justice Canada and Transport Canada on the structuring and procurement of the landmark Alto High Speed Rail project, worth an estimated C$60—90bn. Montreal-based national infrastructure and PPP co-chair Ilan Dunsky co-led the Alto matter together with infrastructure partners Charles Bardou (Montreal) and Lampros Stougiannos (Ottawa). Other recommended names include Vancouver-based department co-chair Jana Mansour and talented Ottawa-based associate Aljosa Zenicanin.

Dentons Canada and Dentons Ecuador, in partnership with their technical and financial subcontractors, were awarded the Loja-Catamayo Road Project by the Canadian Commercial Corporation, acting on behalf of the Ecuadorean Secretariat for PPPs.
