The team has been active handling complex acquisitions, dispositions, financings and joint ventures in Canada over the last year. The practice is spearheaded by John Hutmacher who sits in Toronto. Hutmacher is an expert in real estate transactions, focusing on acquisitions and dispositions. The firm has a large bench of real estate specialist, in Calgary, Garth Anderson handles Western Canadian real estate transactions, while newly promoted partner Jean-Simon Lamarre resides in Montreal and is the go-to for real estate issues. Daniel Kofman and Silvana D’Alimonte both form a part of the Toronto team and are noted for their work on real estate financings, acquisitions and dispositions.
