Highlight-Mandate

Represented Industrial Alliance in a tax dispute before the Tax Court of Canada involving the application of the General Anti-Avoidance Rule (GAAR) to transactions involving the creation of a mutual fund trust corporation.
Advised Montage Gold on the tax issues related to its collaboration with Wheaton Precious Metals International and Zijin Mining Group with respect to a $825m financing package.
