The team works closely with banks and credit unions across the country to modernize Canada’s financial infrastructure framework as well as other issues such as technology procurements. Outside of transactions, the team is also adept at handling contractual disputes involving technology contracts. Adam Armstrong and Joel Ramsey jointly lead the Toronto-based team; Armstrong specializes in technology and commercial contracting, while Ramsey leads on commercial issues such as technology development and procurement and digital transformations. Ebad Rahman excels in advising financial institutions in payment technologies and payment modernization programs. Steven Slavens is noted for his work on technology and outsourcing transactions.
