DLA Piper (Canada) LLP's aviation practice is jointly led by Catherine Pawluch from Toronto and Brian Poston, who recently joined the firm and is based in Vancouver. Pawluch is known for her expertise in aviation matters, advising international airlines on starting scheduled international air services and charter operations in Canada. Litigation is handled by Poston, who advises airlines, manufacturers, operators and other industry clients on litigation involving operational and risk management, product liability, negligence and regulatory issues.
