Busse Disputes has grown its arbitration offering on two fronts recently, personnel-wise with the hire of Kathrin Nordmeier from Noerr in December 2024, and in the scope of its work as its has taken on more cases for pharmaceutical companies, as the sector trends towards favouring arbitration. Name partner Daniel Busse has experience with proceedings conducted under all major arbitration rules, and Silke Justen is a key contact for cases in the energy sector, which continue to rise. Mia Ramb also excels in that area, in addition to cases resulting from construction projects. Represented two internationally active investors in an ICSID arbitration against Greece, claiming several hundred million euros due to alleged violations of the investment protection treaty between Lebanon and Greece.
Represented Privinvest Holding SAL and other group companies from three different jurisdictions in an ICC arbitration with a disputed amount of approximately €7bn relating to the acquisition of a shipyard.
